ABA Brave Youth Of The Year
The Australian Bravery Association Brave Youth of the Year is awarded each year to the Bravery award recipient whose act of bravery is judged to be the most outstanding act of bravery by a minor (under 18) in the year award is granted.
The award is sponsored by Richard Rofle AM and the Cross of Valour Association of Australia, and was previously sponsored by Dr Geoff Boyce, the immediate past ABA Honourary Surgeon. Recipients of the award receive a special medallion struck by the Royal Australian Mint, funding to travel to the ABA National Conference and five years of membership in the association.
