Queensland Rescuers Meet Up
QUEENSLAND BRAVERY EVENT. Are you the recipient of a bravery award from any organisation, know someone who is, or maybe you're just interested to know more about nominating someone for a bravery award?
The Australian Bravery Association (ABA) is a volunteer not-for-profit community organisation run by bravery award recipients, families and friends. It was established in 2000 with the primary function of “supporting those who risk their life to save life, property or the environment”.
On 3 December 2023, at 10am, we will be having an informal gathering at Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Lifesaving Club (upstairs) and you are invited to come join us for an informal get-together, for coffee and a chat with other rescuers.
More information about the ABA can be found at www.forbravery.org.au . If you are interested in attending, please contact Sally Gregory, ABA Queensland President, on ABAQLDPresident@gmail.com .
Tag and share with anyone you know who has been recognised for bravery.
